GMAT Exam 2024: Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Pattern, Preparation, Result, Score
GMAT Focus Edition is the most recent version of the GMAT exam which is conducted to assess an applicant’s business aptitude. The GMAT Focus Edition is an evolved version of the previously conducted GMAT exam and is conducted by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). The GMAT Exam fee in India is USD 275 for the GMAT test center testing and USD 300 for the online GMAT exam testing. The GMAT exam fee may vary based on the region of the applicant and the chosen medium of testing.
The latest GMAT is 2 hours and 15 minutes long including test instructions and breaks. This version is a more flexible, efficient, and detailed format of the GMAT exam as compared to previous versions. These changes have not negatively impacted scoring in the shortened sections of the GMAT Focus Edition. This test is mainly taken by those applicants, who are aiming for MBA abroad admission. GMAT exam dates are available all year round, for which GMAT registrations are done easily. This article will throw light on various aspects of GMAT for international students.

As per GMAC, 9 out of 10 new enrolments are done using a GMAT score across various B-schools for MBA or other business-related admissions for international students. This is because some of the top business schools abroad accept GMAT for their business programs. The option for previous GMAT registrations is no longer available. However, the scores of both GMAT and GMAT Focus Edition will be valid for 5 years.
